His programs for younger children include several original songs written and performed by him. Dave Street has also been recognized for his recorded song "Education is The Salvation" that was officially endorsed by the New Jersey Education Association. "Education is the Salvation" was also recorded in video format and has been aired on a number of TV stations geared towards young people, including BET (Black Entertainment Television). After the Columbine High School incident, Dave was appointed to the New Jersey Conference of Mayors Task Force on preventing School Violence. Through analyzing the causes of conflict and violent behavior in youth and adults, Dave has developed Character Education and Anger Management programs that describe non-violent strategies for individuals and groups to prevent and resolve conflict. Since the world-changing events of September 11th, 2001, Mr. Street has expanded his message to inspire young people to create the most wonderful world that there has ever been by the power of making positive choices. He has also developed motivational programs for older audiences including corporations, civic organizations and newsworthy media platforms in broadcast, television and national magazines. In a recent interview with a local newspaper, The Courier News, Mr. Street quotes "I feel blessed to be working and hopefully making a contribution to society. I appreciate the opportunities being given to make a difference in the world. Now more than ever we need to be positive and see all the new opportunities there are to succeed and do great things for this world. I also believe that the little things count a lot, now more than ever. If we all do the little things to help each other, the future will be bright." Mr. Street's hopes to spread his message of inspiration throughout the nation!
